Information

Song title: Raabta

Artist: Kehte Hain Khuda

Year written: The date the song was released was February 10, 2012.

Country of origin: India.

Thoughts and emotions: My thoughts about the song were it was a very tender, beautiful ballad with a slight beat to it that you can dance to fast. The emotions that I felt while I listened to this song were peace, joy, romance, and love.

Elements:

The piano sounded smooth, soft, peaceful, and mellow at the beginning of the song, the drums gave the song a great tempo, the guitar was perfect for the melody, and the strings gave it a nice blend. Each of these instruments combined together make it an enjoyable piece to both listen and dance to. Each instrument overall featured in the song made me feel inspired to never give up on love, and to take a chance when I get the opportunity.

Opinions:

Here are a couple of comments that help support my opinions  about the song:

The song is basically about a couple in a long distance relationship, and are therefore caught up in a very passionate romance. What is mostly loved and appreciated about this song is the lyrics and it's melody combined together. I honestly can see why the song was such a popular hit, and why it's such a fun, popular song still today.

What also made this piece a popular hit was the combination of the piano and the strings along with the lyrics, which indeed makes it such a lovely ballad as well a
s the drums a awesome dance mix.

Second song: Kasie Hua
Artists: Shaid Kapoor, Kaira A., and Sandeep V.

Date released: June 18, 2019

Thoughts and emotions: As I listened to this piece, it made me think of a true everlasting love that is unbreakable,  unstoppable, and yet inseparable.

Elements:

This song starts off with acoustical guitar playing slowly, then a piano, then strings, then drums, and finally added an electric guitar. The acoustical guitar gave the piece a perfect melody as well as the the piano and the strings. The drums a great addition for it's tempo and measure.

Opinions:

This particular piece is so incredible that it is sure to tug at your heart strings, and will inspire you to dare fall in love and not regret it if you never have before. Romance indeed is on the rise!

How this particular style of music is different from American music is it is recorded in a different language than American English, it has a different sound and rhythm, it's from a different origin, and it it is combined with a slow beat/ dance mix which makes it more popular than American hip/hop/dance music to listen and dance to.
